-Have your corporate bank account opened

Corporate Tax/ Zakat



The corporate tax for foreign investors is 20% annually of the net profit. The corporate tax (Zakat) for GCC nationals is 2.5% of the net profit annually.

Requirements for Branch Office

There are 4 Economic Cities, 5 Special Economic Zone and 36 Industrial Cities in Saudi Arabia. All these offer flexible regulations and incentives to foreign investors depending on the business license and type of activity.

Saudization


This is a national localisation programme called the Nitaqat Program. The percentage varies from Industry to Industry

Wages Protection System (WPS)

The Ministry of Human resources & Social Development introduced a Program in the year 2013 which allows all the establishments, private sectors etc to submit the wages files of their workers. This programme monitors compliance rates, Violations and addresses all types of justifications for the employees benefit.

 

Types of Wages

-Daily-paid workers receive their wages weekly.

 

-Monthly-paid workers receive their wages monthly.

 

-Employees receive weekly payments proportional to the completed portion for piecework lasting over two weeks, with the remaining balance paid in full the following week.

 

-In all other cases, wages are paid to workers at least once a week.

The General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) is a government entity responsible for enforcing the Social Insurance Law in Saudi Arabia. GOSI collects employer contributions, ensures legal social insurance coverage, and disburses benefits to insured individuals and their dependents.
